Hopefully this lays all the Z9 "exclusive" stuff to rest. Now that it can be seen it is the replacement for the Z4.

I feel very amused seeing the Americans being shocked by cloth seats in a BMW.

Also: do people really think early prototypes should feature leather seats???

Prototypes especially early engineering development mules mainly concentrate on the hardware first . interior modules are pressed for cost reason within each programme only until we get later down the development programme that we start to use production interior modules using the quality materials found in production cars - because basically at this time the interior developers and designers will be working on creating the ideas such as texture ,material and so on.

Scott, why does the new mule seem to have soft-top and not folding hardtop as the previous mule has..?
