Their word for 'facelift' is different from the way we mean it.
They say facelift, because all those ignorant car mags were thinking the next Z4 was going to be named Z6 or something. Sure, it's a completely new model, but the name of the car remains the same, so they call it a facelift (same car, different appearance)

Hm ... Still testing a canvas roof.

It looks like that, but it can be a hardtop too, hidden below camo.

Why would they STILL be testing both hardtop and canvas top??? Makes no sense this far in development.

It can make sense if they plan to offer the both like mazda with the MX-5.

Probably canvas for the enthusiast and the hard top for people who want a bit more style.

So no canvas roof anymore. This is probably the main reason production will move to Regensburg Germany.

Good news. Canvas has had it's time for these kind of small cars I guess.

They are using prototypes with canvas top to compare driving dynamics to metal top prototypes, so the hard top models can be improved even more.
