Im not too happy with the changes, especially the front mouth.
I liked the shape of the low-wide airscoop, and even more so I liked the big round deep-positioned foglights.
Now the lines near the mouth are more inline with the rest of the face, in terms of the lines running parallel. I guess the changes have been made to make the front look more cohesive, and that might hopefully increase sales (not that the Z4 has been a flop or anything as such).
Moving on to the M Roadster (which I thought was going to be called the M4 ? Unless that's the coupe?)...but anyways, .... the front looks fairly good, but certainly could have been aggressive and emotive,...but who knows, maybe they were going after a relatively conservative look as with the M6.
Seems like the new ///M "thing" to not include foglights on their M cars. Certainly missing those low-positioned foglights on the M6, M6 and now this car.
The rear lights are just brilliant, ..loving them!! ..especially when comparing them against the current Z4 lights which look a bit cartoon-ish to me (not bad, but just not matching with the sharp lines of the car).
I'm liking the 2 sharp crease lines on the hood of the M version,... really adds more emphasis to the front, and kind of matches in with the sharp mouth design.
I'm lovin' the smoothened out rear light shape too. Rather than the deep cuts of the current Z4, the facelifted one has a more smootha and curvy look to it... niiiice.
What I'm wondering is, what wheel design the M version of the Z4 has... because it is such a sharp looking car, ...it's got to have wheels with some serious attitude in their design language...!!
