![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | The car looks good both outside and inside but its the interior materials I'm skeptical about. Same case with Audi A4 and new E-class, the interior materials did not impress me, its not better than before. I didnt found progress.

I've been asking this question for years...but I will do it one more time for old time sake. What exactly are you looking for in an interior to be impressive? Other then the basics!

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | The interior design in Z4 and E-class is impressive but I also want better quality feel and materials thats better than the previous models but its not the case. None if these three cars (A4,Z4.E-class) push the boundries any further. Its just the same old good standard....

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | What kind of feel are you looking for? Me personally if the nobs are tight the wood is smooth and the leather is comfortable...I'm happy. As long is nothing is looks or to the point of breakability...then I'm ok. Was their something wrong with the e-class nobs...did anything feel plastic....What exactly went wrong in the car that made you feel it lacked a "certain" quality? Oh my this is a Z4 thread....but you can tell me about the e-class and Z4 too then...

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Now that the new Z4 has started to make appearance at the streets of Stockholm on a regular basis I think it is time to say something about the looks. It is marvelous! The presence is stunning and out of the colours I have seen (dark blue, silver, black and red) the black is the best. It looks a lot more mature than the toy-car that is the old Z4 and if BMW had any intention of moving towards Mercedes with this car I think they have managed that part very well. It has a feeling of a small SL up to no good over it...

I've explained myself about Z4, A4 and E-class somewhere on this board before, directly after I studied these cars. I cant remember the details but its somewhere on this board. Let's say, I simply wasn't impressed.

![]() | First I must excuse my English since it's not my language. I happened to be in the 2 Z4s. Interior feels are different in 2 of them. One with the Extended leather has a much better feel than the one without it. The extended leather dash area has a superb and luxurious feel to it while the normal one is just plain plastic. So I think it depends on how you spec your car, but for the base price I think it's a bit costly to get the plastic quality in the non-extended leather version. just my opinion peace ![]() |
