| Re: The new Z4 gets less attention than the 7series.. Personally I'm more intrested in the upcoming Z4 since I can see myself driving it. 7er is too large and un-sporty for my taste.

I dont know man. I have some serious hopes for this car. I pray that BMW really markets it the way its needed. Didnt we hear some stuff about Efficient Dynamics? Dont make another Z4 as ''filler.'' Make it great! This car wont just be competing with the Cayman but also the new 370Z that comes out next year as well. It will be smaller, lighter, and more powerful. Nissan's CEO Carlos Ghosn has already said that it will be a serious performer and that they are going after the Porsche Cayman. I honestly believe they will do it. Why? The GT-R will shred cars 2x. They definitely proved a lot of people wrong. Disclaimer: I dont like Nissan/Infiniti but they are super aggressive in targeting the Germans. Look at the 3series vs Gseries. Look at the GT-R vs Porsche 911 Turbo, now its the 35k Z vs the 60k Cayman. I am a BMW guy. Build me an up to date sports car I can dream about owning. The styling from what I can see is looking sharp. Hopefully it will have the balls to back it up. BUILD THE EXCITEMENT NOW! Whats with November 5th?? The day after the U.S. election?? There is going to be a lot of pissed off people not giving a sh*t about anything automotive on our side of the pond. I wont be one of them.  | |

But for now..its pretty dead.. due to the Paris show, new 7er.. and the economical probs.. But no one has forgot.. Maybe BMW should shed some camo to get discussions going again..
