![]() | Re: Next generation BMW Z4 E89 - part II (first FEP pics incl. !!!) The first thing I noticed that the area around the BMW logo on the back is way too flat in the CGI. It's much more 3D in the spy pics. Shoulder line is not right either - should be higher and more upwards going towards the back. The bonnet cutline is incorrect, there are no reflectors in the bumper and the side vent is in the wrong place ![]()

Side vents are lower, reminds me of the Z8 Rear quarter panel character lines are much cleaner. The more recent photoshops are very close to the final product

I haven't seen the real car unlike Warot, but I can already say that this rendering is a bad-ass car with a large front wheel arche, a very agressive stance, and lines cut sharply. The real one in spy pics appears more round and soft. The whole car is higher and rounder. I think the above picture would have gotten my vote instead of the real one, although it's just a rendering from one angle and could have many flaws from other angles. Mike

M3ish hood is kind of stupid, obviously the spyshots don't show that. Headlights are a bit taller I'd say. And the bumper is the right idea, but the details aren't very well done though. In the end, it's still only a PS. Wait till you see the real thing, amazing.

(you can notice the "WILL make it's world debut", not "should" or "is expected to"... )But that was nearly a month ago... Things can change so much in one month... (especially at BMW )

We haven't had any photo leaks, we haven't heard any word on a media embargo on press release and photos.. and the car - eventhough it's becoming clearer - is still very well disguised. Seems like a little bit more waiting around.
