BMW are delaying Z4 press release due the sDrive trademark registration issues in US market.

Although sDrive trademark was registered by USPTO in the very late October, the models designations (eg. sDrive35, sDrive23 etc) were not - although BMW expected to get all the sDrive-related registrations done by the November 5th, which was a designated announcement day.

The model designations has finally been officially registered this Tuesday (11/11) yet BMW AG are still waiting to obtain official letter (registration certificate) from USPTO, and then press release can be issued.

BMW just couldn't afford a fiasco by officially introducing / announcing an unregistered trademark. So, delaying the PR was inevitable till the US market registration of sDrive?? model designationsis complete.

So, Z4 sDrive35i & Co. are coming soon!

Btw,
I'm not sure when exactly the Z4 PR is to be issued due the upcoming / scheduled new MINI Cabrio PR.
Either MINI press release will be postponed ,and the postponed Z4 PR will be issued instead on that date; or MINI PR is going out as scheduled, and Z4 PR will have to wait a little bit more.

Wow, WHO ARE YOU dude?

Re: Next generation BMW Z4 E89 - part II (first FEP pics incl. !!!)

Got that!

The cars we shot in Australia and eleswhere featured these designations , in order to prevent mass workload of digital removal on film and all press and releated media materials.

Or else our Ozone Silver Z4 would look very "illegal" without approval .
I say that again Ozone Silver - The car we filmed for press purposes on location in Australia and other locations including South Africa . Just as previous posts illustrated that indeed the 7er we were shooting in Australia were in Cashmere Silver and Sophisto Grey. Or Maybe the X6 in Vermillion Red or our Alpine White and Jerez Black M3 Cabrio ?
Should I go on?

The evidence is here in these respective forums maybe before you like to join just to discredit you do a lot of fact checking ?

Shall I go on with my record , BMW M3 Concept at Geneva 2007? , BMW high end Coupe-Sedan Concept CS? Or go back to Car Spyshots and my BMW M5 news including the first Concept @ Geneva 2004?

Just like how things are progressing with the new BMW X1 - Filming first in British Columbia very soon and either in Meridian Gold , Eureka Green or Montreal Blue?

It's true BMW are a very progressive company but an idea first starts in the head before compiled to paper and then to development and then to test. Nothing always works , plans for an M series of the 1er did not work because all solutions to use the outgoing Z4 M engine either through engineering , upgrades etc did not suit the chassis of the car , The balance was out of sync and the car was too front heavy.

Now you ask what does the future bring?
Why is there no Halo Cars for BMW?
The BMW image is dilluted?

All for another thread. But let me leave you with this.
Traditionalist and enthusiasts of the BMW Brand are up in arms because of our "tree-hugging" Efficient Dynamics programme and Project-i.
But who says that you cannot have fun with such programmes?
And very progressive performance without sacrificing image?

I look forward to telling you about the "Terrible Twins" .

And no that is not me in the X1 video . I look like a more handsomer Keith Olbermann and twice as loud.

ROFL!

Yeah, and I'm like Anderson Cooper with brown hair (instead of gray), and triple as frenzy.

PS: actually Scott is almost a clone of Bill O'Reilly yet twice as bitchy. While I'm a Caucasian version of Barack Obama (yet with smaller ears, and being far less hopeful).

I don't say you can't pull off the traditional BMW values and still be a tree-hugger. You are simply not there yet! In the mean time I went for a Cooper S...
