Oh here is a final proof for the scepticals that Scott in indeed an insider and that he works on the video supports of the new cars:

Look at the man with glasses in the beginning of the movie, that's him:

BMW-web.tv - The International Entertainment Magazine

And that's not a joke.

LA motor show is one week away... If Z4 will be there (as Scott said) then press release will be in less than one week...

Even with the light camo and from the various PS', it doesn't take a rocket scientist to see that the rear is a toned down version of the 6er. To me, it looks perfect in real life and fits the Z4 perfectly.

This car will look amazing in light colors like that. A silver on red car would be the perfect combo, absolutely flawless

I think that might be a good thing. The rear of the 6-series is one of its absolute strong points. Haters will hate it but that is ok, some will say it looks like crap however it looks.

That's my theory anyways.

And it's all wrong.

BMW are delaying Z4 press release due the sDrive trademark registration issues in US market.

Although sDrive trademark was registered by USPTO in the very late October, the models designations (eg. sDrive35, sDrive23 etc) were not - although BMW expected to get all the sDrive-related registrations done by the November 5th, which was a designated announcement day.

The model designations has finally been officially registered this Tuesday (11/11) yet BMW AG are still waiting to obtain official letter (registration certificate) from USPTO, and then press release can be issued.

BMW just couldn't afford a fiasco by officially introducing / announcing an unregistered trademark. So, delaying the PR was inevitable till the US market registration of sDrive?? model designationsis complete.

So, Z4 sDrive35i & Co. are coming soon!

Btw,
I'm not sure when exactly the Z4 PR is to be issued due the upcoming / scheduled new MINI Cabrio PR.
Either MINI press release will be postponed ,and the postponed Z4 PR will be issued instead on that date; or MINI PR is going out as scheduled, and Z4 PR will have to wait a little bit more.

So our insiders score again. Can anyone tell me how you would have know this without their help?

After seeing this car 24 hours ago, I'm still in awe at how good it looks. I like it that much

Wait till you see who's responsible for the E89 design / styling.
The publicity can be quite huge due this fact.
And I'm sure the name(s) will cause some controversy in the media / public.
There will certainly be a vivid debate (about E89 creators) here at GCZ as well.
