Lets talk about : BMW Agile Drive : new damping and suspension system and and a new Z-differential for supreme control.
Or the Double Clutch transmission making it's non M car debut in the Z4.
We know about the two roof options both automatic soft-top and fully automatic hardtop which is much more lighter than the 3er (E93) option.
Lightweight contstruction including revolutionary safety technology .
Turbo charged engines for Power and BMW Efficient Dynamics" offering best in class efficiency and emission output.
But the new damping and suspension system offers sustainment to the optional hard-top giving equal dynamics to both models The Target is the Porsche Boxster for handling . and the new Z4 is said to be more focused than the current model , particular work has gone on the steering and the handling to return the Z4 to much more focused sporting roots .
The media shooting commences in Summer in Australia , New Zealand , Switzerland (Z-bends a major focus on the handling aspect of the Z4) and other destinations TBC. The colors are Orion Silver - Close to White and Arctic White, Both engine options petrol, diesel and roof options will be focused on.
The car will be shown before Christmas 08.

Scott,
Will the soft top be a diesel only option. I seem to recall that early on in the thread....
Also with the DCT, will it have programs like the current one or not? Seems that BMW wants the Z to out perform others.... the additional programs may make that easier!
Very exciting to hear about the dampening system, that sounds very effective.
