I will surely miss the old Z4 interior, it was really a perfect example of the zen minimalist & classy design.

Barring a few small, plasticky items, the interior is also built like a brick sh!thouse. One of the most solid-feeling I've come across in an open top car.

Yeah, the old interior was awesome. It fitted me like an expensive Italian handmade suit. I truly loved it in there. So low to the ground, small, compact interior, and that loooong hood you see from behind the steering wheel. It's powerful!

This feeling already gave Z3, so Im sure it will stay with new Z4 . And this feeling in cabin is awesome

Warot is correct, the new Z4 is getting DCT gearbox. Here is 335i with the dct gearbox and the gearlevel is the same seen on the Z4.

My question is if and when U.S. spec 3er's and E89 Z4's will get this DCT gearbox. There's definitely the market for it. I mean, you don't get a Bimmer because you' want an uninvolved driving experience, or do you?

The rumor is that the DCT will debut with the E89 and at that time, the 3er will get it too. Not sure if the sedan will as well.
