That's about 5k higher than today's models.
Of course optional features will push the price into the sky.
But ...
Right now the base model Z4 is 2.0i which won't be available initially when E89 is launched ... so it's true the base E89 will cost about 10k more than current E85 base model. Simple as that. |
Well thanks for this information Eni !
No offense but there's something not really clear: if we take my comparaison of bmw and mercedes prices (
http://www.germancarzone.com/z4-road...er-tt-slk.html (Z4 prices and perfs VS Boxster, TT and SLK))
- the current z4 e85 2.0 costs 29 900 €
- the current z4 e85 2.5 costs 32 900 €
- the current SLK 200 which is 184ch (that means more than the e85 2.5) costs 36 500 €
=> If you say the base e89 is 5000 € more than the current one, if we take a 2.5 as the base model, that means 37 900 € which is 1500 € more than the slk, so not really the same...
that's not a big difference so let's say you would'nt be totally wrong on that affirmation
BUT if "the base E89 will cost about 10k more than current E85 base model" that means the base E89 will cost 40 000 € ! and that's 3500 € more than the SLK... 10% more than the SLK and 33% more than the e85 !
That's a big difference...
and that means one of your affirmation is not complety true... so which one ?
and thanks again for your informations !
