Looks like central dashboard is oriented toward driver, like old Bimmers had

Well, I really hope not... that seems quite old...

And for the central buttons, I fond them far less classy than the CS Concept ones...

Not sure about the whole chromed knobs...

Rendered Speculation: 2010 BMW Z4 Coupe

BMW are currently developing the next generation BMW Z4,it is likely to have its worldwide unveiling at the Geneva Motor Show next year before it goes on sale later in 2009 as a 2010 model. Prototypes spotted in the past have used BMW's annoying signature camoflage making analysis of the model difficult, so to aid you in this process we present a couple of new renderings featuring a paintwork that is much easier on the eye.

The chief rivals for the all new model will be the Mercedes SLK and Porsche Boxster, BMW will continue to offer a large range of engines which will include the twin-turbo 3.0-liter from the 335i and the Z4 M is set to get a new 4.0 liter V8 from the M3. There are also rumours of a diesel being available.

As with all new models, engines are likely to benefit from the application of BMW's EfficientDynamics program, so expect some excellent fuel economy and emission busting figures to come out when it is released.

Very close. But some details are off. See below!


Front:

• the body-colored bars in air intake are redundant - IRL they are not there
• outer edges of air-intake are not as sharp IRL
• upper edge / line of the headlight cluster is more straight, not as wavy as in CGI
• kidney grille lacks chromed frame
• side mirrors have different surface styling

Rear:

• rear light graphics is wrong but the shape is quite right
• license plate holder is upturned IRL (upturned U shape, not U-shaped as in CGI)
• bumper creases / lines are just slightly different IRL
• boot lid features extra crease / line running from C-pillar to the stylized spoiler
• rear part of shoulder line curves slightly down towards door handle (after crossing the fuel tank cap - which is missing in CGI), and is indeed discontinued from the rest shoulder line which starts just behind door shut line, going through the door handle, and continues towards the front (ending in a grille)

Side:

• very representative except the above-mentioned things (side mirrors, rear part of shoulder line, missing fuel tank cap etc)

Boy that's incredible !!! So gorgeous !!!

And the rear is so better compared to the last red shop ! Sophisticated and subti ! Now we're not on a poor missed 6er anymore, it's a complete different personnality !

Please please please Eni or Scott, tell us that this rear and those taillights are closer to reality than the last ones !
