lol, all pics work now, I see three posts behind eachother with the same pics
Anyways, looks like there is a new gearstick design for the Z4, different from the ones in the X5/6 and 5er, more in line with the one in the 6er. | | | | | Member

Those KGP spy photographers get themselves into the darndest locations. In this case, it's the inside of the upcoming 2010 BMW Z4. We have seen a glimpse of the interiorbefore, but this time around, it's nearly unprotected, which gives us the first good look at the center stack and controls. It seems BMW is going with a more button-and-knob-centric approach this time (thank God) and brightening the interior with some aluminum accents. One thing that gives us pause is the apparent lack of emergency-brake lever. Could it be? Is BMW abandoning the ever-delightful E-brake turn in favor of an electric brake? Let's see what our spies have to say: BMW Z4 Gets A Buttony New Interior - ONLY REGISTERED AND ACTIVATED USERS CAN SEE ALL LINKS - CLICK HERE TO REGISTER - ONLY REGISTERED AND ACTIVATED USERS CAN SEE ALL LINKS - CLICK HERE TO REGISTER - ONLY REGISTERED AND ACTIVATED USERS CAN SEE ALL LINKS - CLICK HERE TO REGISTER - ONLY REGISTERED AND ACTIVATED USERS CAN SEE ALL LINKS - CLICK HERE TO REGISTER - ONLY REGISTERED AND ACTIVATED USERS CAN SEE ALL LINKS - CLICK HERE TO REGISTER - ONLY REGISTERED AND ACTIVATED USERS CAN SEE ALL LINKS - CLICK HERE TO REGISTER - ONLY REGISTERED AND ACTIVATED USERS CAN SEE ALL LINKS - CLICK HERE TO REGISTER - ONLY REGISTERED AND ACTIVATED USERS CAN SEE ALL LINKS - CLICK HERE TO REGISTER | | | | | The Following 6 Users Say Thank You to Bartek Sikorski For This Useful Post: | | | Aficionado

^^ They are stupid enough to put an old picture there too, with the old school gearlever.....you can see the new gearstick in the pics posted by Tycoon above.
These new buttons look great, the interior looks really grown up now! I can't wait for more, the Z4 is going to be something special.

One more thing I noticed is that the whole radio unit seems to be completely detached from iDrive, and very easy to use with a few separate buttons again. All radio info seems to have it's own little display as well...
...that's pretty old school BMW design there I'd say.... people won't complain about that I hope! | | | | | Devotee
