Cayenne is fat, Panamera is fat and 911 is hardly light either.Anyways, 1600 kg sounds like too much. I'm hoping no more than 1500 ![]() Edit; Eni, I was thinking around those figures too. F01 is lighter than E65, F10 than E60 and E89 weighs less than E85. That's how it'll be. None of BMW's Efficient Dynamics features would have much effect if the cars keep on gaining weight. Keeping the weight down should be, and probably is, one of the most important parts of the new cars

The official E85 EU figures are 1385kg, 265PS, and 0-100km/h in 5.7sec. How close to 5.0 will the E89 twinturbo be? I am guessing 5.2.... (if not closer). Very close to the non-PDK 2009 Boxster S, if not faster. EDIT: actually, the 335i coupe already does it in 5.2! that should bring the time of the E89 Z4, if 1450kg, to just under 5sec.. (I have trouble believing that, it will put the M in a hard position..). Mike PS: sorry for the edit.. Last edited by mike.blueberry; 12-08-2008 at 05:46 AM.

![]() | Re: Next generation BMW Z4 E89 - part II (first FEP pics incl. !!!) Wow! That is one strong opinion Eni. That would mean it weighs a bit less than a 135i. I find that incredibly hard to believe but I've eaten crow before. |

hopefully not more than 5.3sec. A 5.2 or lower would make me very happy. ![]() Mike

![]() | Re: Next generation BMW Z4 E89 - part II (first FEP pics incl. !!!) the Cayenne is not a "Porsche" but a marketing cash-cow! It has NOTHING of a sportive car. I am sceptic about the Panamera... 1495 for the E89 35i? well, well we will see..I doubt... |
