![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Re: Next generation BMW Z4 E89 - part II (first FEP pics incl. !!!) Moving ahead further with the Z4 now that the 7er is in post-production, Just editing , visuals , sound mix just to go and music I am thinking Tiesto. ![]() So now the preliminary work commences with the Z4 , My assistant flies to Sydney Australia next week to scout locations and secure permission for our imminent arrival. I envision the theme ( The seemless dash to the horizon) staring off from a roof top parking building surrounded by skyscrapers ( Could be Sydney , Could be Dubai?) just as the sun begins to rise when you get the golden stabs of light hit the skyscrapers the same can apply to the sunlight showcasing the surfaces of the car , revealing key features of the design , intercepted with arial views of a city reading itself for another day , I especially like birds-eye views of city scapes. A well groomed male in a hotel corridor interwines our first look at the detail of the exterior not a full reveal - that comes a little later, enters a lift , still some more details of the car the BMW badge illuminates as the sun rises , as does the Z4 badge . The reveal will be when the lift doors open on the roof and focus in on the car , The key fob gets pressed and we see the roof begin to fold away into the bodywork (For this we will use a rotating platform as used on various shots like this ( see "two of a kind" - 1er promo also ) Then we see our look into the interior as the camera shifts across the door panel , rotaing slowly to showcase the cockpit - a cut to the sun now fully in the sky , Press Start and away we go. In the City and along towards the harbour (Sydney?) Here is to illustrate the sporty aspects of the Z4 with some great Australian coastal roads with some South Africa and New Zealand. Because we have two Z4's to showcase both hardtop , softtop , petrol and diesel , the reveal of the diesel will be a fast cruise beside the 90 mile beach in New Zealand with an ariel shot chasing a charging Z4 in one lane whilst in the opposite here comes the diesel as both cars cross the focus changes to the diesel model , Along the way we will communicate with establishing shots hardtop, soft-top , Agility , technology and Enthusiastic driving , plenty of ariel shots will be needed as this is a sports car. And of course we will feature the "Efficient Dynamics"attributes of the new Z4. Of course the theme starts from "Sunrise to Sundown" so there has to be shots of the cars driving along a coastal environment as the sun begins to set , the final establishing shot of the car will be the Z4 sitting on a beach as the sun makes its slow descent and the Z4 is beautifully glowing gold and orange and then fading out. There is also interest in a teaser which could I envision just show a city at night intercepted with film of streets , driving , nightlife illuminated skycrapers etc. which would then end with the teaser of the Z4 in it's parking place but in the shadows - so you don't see it -yet. ![]() But will annnounce a date or possibly a countdown to launch. |

![]() | Re: Next generation BMW Z4 E89 - part II (first FEP pics incl. !!!) Hey Scott, I know its early but any indication if the Z4M will get the E92 motor? If so that will be the deal of the century. That motor puts the M3 in a class of its own...the lighter Z4 would mop the floor with the competition. |

![]() | Re: Next generation BMW Z4 E89 - part II (first FEP pics incl. !!!) That sounds great !!! ![]() I'd see at least one of them with a beautiful grey colour (stratusgrau maybe...) But maybe you're right and white will be good (although I usually don't like at all white cars...) |

Same source confirmed that the 7 will have all wheel steering as well, so I'm sure we didn't get that from the forum ![]() | |
