![]() ![]() | Is this going to be a sign of things to come where the M Sport versions of the 3 and 5 series for example get slightly more power than the standard trim models? I think it is.

![]() | ^ For sure. The 35d now has 306 hp. 100% all 35i models will get standard 326 hp, a bit more than the diesel counterpart. And all models with the 50i engine will get 450 hp. Also, Eni, didn't the car get the new iDrive screen too, like 7er?

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Now when BMW started with Turbo for their M cars , I wouldnt be surprised if M is getting an engine update as well. Like Audi is doing with RS6 (called RS6+).

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Is RS6+ on the cards for the current generation Just_me? I know that they did this with the previous generation but wasn't expecting it for this one. As for M and the turbocharging strategy? Interesting times ahead! Can't wait for M5 but I could care less for an X6 M - now more so than ever with the availability of an M package and power upgrade. This model range, frankly, didn't need a "full-on" M model. Sorry to sound like a stuck record. [Backs down]

![]() ![]() | I'm not so sure. BMW might decide to differentiate the M Sport models by giving them a bit of extra power.

![]() ![]() | Here's a thought. Unsuspecting X6 buyers being confused by the naming of the line-up. BMW X6 M BMW X6 M Sport So is the second one a superior version of the first one? Somebody hasn't thought this through. ![]() Serves BMW right for cashing in on the M brand by naming the sport models 'M' sport.
