  | 2009 BMW X6 gets first round EPA numbers -

 The BMW X6 is slowly arriving in showrooms across the United States. But before you rush out and test drive the SAC (Sports Activity Coupe, that’s what BMW calls it) check out the preliminary EPA numbers released by BMW. The BMW X6 xDrive35i is powered by a 3.0L 6-cylinder engine that produces 300-hp and 300 lb-ft of torque. BMW says the xDrive35i returned a fuel-economy of 15/20/17mpg (city/highway/combined). On the other hand the more powerful xDrive50i, powered by a 4.4L V8 twin-turbo that produces 400-hp, came in it at 13/18/15mpg. If you’re impressed by those figures, run out and jump in one now. But if you have enough cash in your account hold out for the hybrid X6 that’s coming in 2009.
