Well finally my co worker came back to work and I test drove the car. I've driven my father's in law X5 4.8i and the new X6 xDrive35i. unfortunetly not back to back since I hadn't got the chance to drive the X5 again but let me tell my thoughts. The car pulls out nicely from stand still. At first i was a passenger with the owner and he pulled all the way to arround 70 mph or 120 Kmh. The power band seems best between 1500 all the way to 5500 rpm. It looses its feel of pulling just before the redline (7000 rpm). From Standstill, I guess the X5 will have 2 foots advantage untill 30 Kmh and then the turbos kick in and the X6 will manage to pull away. The owner said that he raced his car against an X5 with Hamann kit (I think Exhaust + ECU remapping) and still he got the advantage of 2 doors in front of him. The ride was firmer than the X5 I drove because the X5 had 19's while this had the 20's. In addition, those tires are huge and made some pavement noise maybe a little bit loud. I guess because they are run flats.
One more thing, i got a call from the dealer today. I was happy since I knew that maybe my car arrived. But it turned out that they had a VRed X6 which I refused to get. I want my car just like the above pics.
