I like that feature as well.Adds to the sleekness of the backside.It's hard to ride around here in town if your an X6 fan.Seeing more and more on the roads.Makes you really want to go out and buy oneThe more I see them in everyday traffic,the more I like the look.IMO BMW really nailed this design.Thanks. Just a question, it seems that the only colors being produced are white, silver, red and black...
Can you confirm this as our special agent ??
If not could you try to capture the X6 in the other colors!
Thanks anyway, I am looking forward to your next pictures..
According to my info the following colours are being produced now, whilst the remaining 4 colours will be available from April 2008 production.

Available now;

- Alpine White
- Titanium Silver
- Tasman
- Black Saphire
- Space Grey
- Vermilion Red

Available April 2008;

- Monaco Blue
- Jet Black
- Mineral Silver
- Deep Sea Blue

Vermillion Red Production X6 XDrive 50i Spotted

Hey guys,I finally caught two beautiful TT V-8 X6's out testing yesterday.They appeared to be finished production level 50i's.These are the first two finished V-8's I've spotted.They appeared from a very unlikely location.These two X6's popped out of some roll up doors in the BMW Training and Development Center.I thought this was some sort of HR Facility for advanced training for BMW Associates.I just happened to drive by this place,like I have many times in the past.I've never seen any X6's enter or exit from this place.It had a kind of James Bond feeling to the whole thing,this door rolls up and out pop's two red X6's hauling ass!!! I got behind and beside one of the cars at a stop sign.One of the doors opened and a guy got out.....and walked toward me...rutt row !!!! Luckily the guy kidda grinned at me and opened up the rear hatch.I'm not sure what the stuff is hanging out of the hatch.There were two X6's and they were in a hurry.They did several high speed runs on this road behind the BMW Plant.They would do a uturn prior to getting to the traffic light at each end of the street.After a couple of passes on this road the X6's went to the Performance Center and did 4 or 5 hot laps there.One last comment.These V-8's did not sound well at all.They had the deep "NASCAR" V-8 rumble,but almost sounded like they were misfiring or running on less than 8 cylinders.Maybe that was somehow tied into the test they were preforming.At least yesterday they did not sound like a precision german engineered V-8.Thanks. PalBay

I hope this doesn't spell delay for the V-8 launch? I want it to be right, but I don't think I can last till end of summer waiting on it....

I'm going to see if I can find out if there is anything up w/ the V8.As important as this new TTV8 is to BMW ( the many future auto's that will receive it),not just the X6,we hope BMW will get it right before they release it for production.Thanks. PalBay

Re: Vermillion Red Production X6 XDrive 50i Spotted

Hi guys,
I went for a test drive at the susan g koman bmw drive for a cure event today and they had a brand spanking new titanium silver x6 xdrive3.5i on display as the signature vehicle. Man this car is sexy and hot! I can tell you that all the pictures we've seen so far cannot substitute for seeing this car in the metal for yourself!!

PS: sorry I did not carry a camera with me so I don't have any pics.
