Re: The X6's Secret Hiding Place

I doubt it, the X6 is sure to be beyond my reach.

If I were to leave MB it would be for a M3 though.

Re: The X6's Secret Hiding Place

But if it wasn't, would you?

Oh, sorry, i've forgot, you're more that without-the-top guy... I'm sure you'd rather go for M3 convertible.

Re: The X6's Secret Hiding Place

Yep a M3 convertible with the new gearbox would be just perfect. The X6 is afterall still a SuV and couldn't be my everyday ride. As a second or third vehicle it would be perfect.

4:00 P.M. X6 Parade To The Airport

Agent PalBay back on the case!!! I have discovered that this dash for the Airport is a late Friday afternoon recurring event! My favorite stop sign produced a few good shots. One of the Red X6's is a right hand drive version. The first I've spotted. The other Red X6 at the stop sign is my ole friend the XDrive 50i I caught going into the Special Vehicle Ops Bld. Note the Silver Grille and Silver trimwork around the windows. In the far shot at the traffic light you can (barely) see the rectangle exhaust tips. This 50i continues to be the only V8 I've seen anywhere. It makes me believe the 50i production will be pushed into late 2008.The shots of the X6's on the way to the airport might help people understand the size of the X6.The two X6's coming toward me have a Mini sandwiched between them. The Black X6 turning at the traffic signal is following a Mini Clubman. The line of cars at the stop sign on the airport property include a Mini Clubman,a couple of 3 Series, and an X5.That's all for now.Thanks. PalBay

Alpine White X6 w/ Roof Rails

Hey guys, active day on the trail of the X6.Spotted this partially camo'ed White X6 at the local grocery store.Nice look for the white car fans and what the roof rails add or takeaway, depending on your position. The guy walking to the car was the driver...... Can you spell BUSTED!!!!! He actually was ok.He told me I could have my own X6 in about 4 months. The picture of him next to the car helps show the size of the X6.The Silver X6 on the road was mainly to show it's size relative to some other cars. The Silver X6 is side by side w/ a Nissan Quest van and behind a Ford F-150.The Black X6 is different from the one I spotted in the driveway,a different wheel package. The shot between the MDX and Trailblazer helps w/ evaluating the size of the X6.That's all for now. Thanks. PalBay

Thanks Palbay for all your contributions !
Just a question, it seems that the only colors being produced are white, silver, red and black...
Can you confirm this as our special agent ??
If not could you try to capture the X6 in the other colors!
Thanks anyway, I am looking forward to your next pictures..

You know I was thinking the same thing.BMW must be making some strong bets on preferred colors. If I could only figure out how to get into, legally of course, this holding lot at the airport.Seems to have all the colors of X6's in this holding area.Maybe I'll just ask for permission to take a few pic's and see what the guards say.Driving an X3 and wearing my Bimmer logo hat, surely they won't turn away a rabid BMW enthusiast.......I'll see what I can figure out. Thanks! PalBay

Good to see that that they kept the brake strip that shows at the top of the back window, I was hoping they would keep that
