yes and X5 is using a 4.8i engine until it being replaced with the new Turbo 4.8 V8 from X6.

But the new TT engine is 4.4l not 4.8l,so i guess they turbocharged the 4.4l powered the 45 cars

Tarek, I didnt know you were a BMW freak I thought the new V8 turbo was based on a 4.8 liter engine

N64 is a completely new engine. Not just a turbocharged N62.
The bloc is different, the head (incl injection system) is different, the water pump is different, the manifolds are different etc.

Only the displacement is almost the same: 4,398 ccm3 vs 4,395 ccm3

Like Eni said, the 4.4 liter engine used in the the new TT is completely different from the old 4.4l.
