Does anyone know when X5 will get this engine? Fall 2008/2009 MY?

Can someone direct me to official press release information for this engine, including the detailed technical pics.

I'm very interested in this talk of mounting the catalytic convertors in the V of the engine - has anyone got a pic of their actual location? Also want to find more about those intercoolers mounted at the front of the engine... I gather they are charge air coolers.

And yes, Eni, (you bastid ) now I know exactly why those spy pics of the F01 7er engine bay had me so perplexed! Quite simply, we've never seen the likes of such an engine before.

BMW does it, yet again. I'm very impressed.

I just cant wait what will Hartge or AC Schnitzer do with this engine ..Already this engine putts rivals to its knees and,if I´m not wrong,this is just stage 1 configuration (power and torque figures).IMO,M5 and other performance bemmers will be endangered more than ever ..
