That's interesting. Can you name some cross-overs that in your opinion have rear design that looks the same?

A little late here. If this is the concept than BMW fans can rest assured that 98.0% of this vehicle is production ready as most post production BMW concepts are. The only question is the mirrors, I don`t believe thay will make the production cut. The mirrors on the M5 concept didn`t make production either.

I guess this is BMWs way of saying, this is a concept so a little something has to differ from the production version.

This is a crossover between a coupe and SUV, so what's wrong with looking like a cross over? Don't forget the CLS is a 4-door coupe, it is even more 'confusing' than the X6 if you think about it but CLS is a pretty hot car to own now I reckon, surely more attractive than an Eclass.

However I do hope BMW will be back making real driving machines soon, but looks like they won't stop expanding their SAV line until the X1 is finished.. (plzzz don't go make an X4!) Sometime back there were talks about a Z5 wasn't there? a lightweight, small displacement engine roadster that probably won't win you more acceleration races than an M3, but surely kill anything in corners.

do we have any sneak peeks of the interior ? I know its a concept and they would not be showing it around...but any chance someone's had a look at it ?

No surprises here. X5 carbon copy. With some new trim & color options.

So,basic lines and displacement of controls(dashboard and center console) will not change?As far I can see,not much is changed .

Since BMW is not showing the interiors officially, how credible is it that its really going to be a carbon copy of the X5. If you look at the overall product line-up, almost none have the same interiors, though they follow the same design philosophy. Is there a chance that once this officially comes out, it is going to be different ?

Sorry, but I don't see the logic in making it a carbon copy of the X5, especially since they are trying to market the X6 as being different from the X5.
