Totally agree with you mate. But I don't think the difference between the real thing and the concept is as great as the XF concept and the real thing.

So this is it huh! I love love it. Big bold and sexy. On the down side I don't like the fact that it's too similar to the X5. It looks as if BMW has simply made a coupe version of the X5.
BMW should have done like MB did with the E-class and CLS. Both have completely different design. The same goes for the CL and S class. Special cars priced above 50k should have their own unique styling.

Yes indeed, somewhat stupifyingly the car actually does manage to look very good. Well done to BMW for pulling it off. I find myself most intrigued by this vehicle.
Oh, and to eagle-eye Ralfd, well done for spotting the X6 with regular pillars in the design studio! Clever bugger...
