The design brief for the X6 included the guaranteed production model of the regular 5dr Sport Activity Coupe , But the board of directors wanted to see how a Coupe and a Cabrio would look and these made it to full size styling models . Whilst not guaranteed for production they are on "hold" at the moment meaning a decision will be made at a later date , The Concept is to whet peoples appetite and gage peoples reaction. BMW are no strangers to a 4x4 cabrio having in the past developed a X5 based Z18 concept. Stranger things have happened.... Greetings from Frankfurt... |

I can smell a new King of the BLING here! IMO 1er coupe / cabrio + X6 SAC will revolutionize BMW image again - especially in the US market. IMO also the other wealthy people & enthusiasts around the world won't be left cold by the ultimate bully coupe (X6) & BMW pocket rocket (135i). |
