You are 100% right.
Daytime driving lights are switched off, so neither CELIS LED strips nor front CELIS LED rings are seen!
That illuminated part of the rear light in the spy pic is a braking light. If you look closely you'll see the C-LED strips as well inside the cluster, yet they are not illuminated.
The white strip you can see in the cluster is a reverse light, while the blinker is the dark red part above the white strip.
PS: the rear light part on the boot lid is camoed, while the red reflector strips are fake / provisional. The real red reflector strips are positioned in the rear bumper - right above PDC sensors (the white dots). The cluster shape (the part on side wings) will be similar to X5 but longer & sleeker & narrower (more aggressive, more triangular) - while the part on the boot lid is L-shape-ish (similar to Huck's impression).
