In my opinion the photo shows the iDrive without the Navigation module! The E60 screen is also smaller when you don't choose the navigation! without navigation with navigation

The navi screen on our E320 is also pretty small, but the print is readable. I've never had any problems with it, even when I am operating it without my glasses.

You are right Ree. THat's probably an X5 without NAV. Therefore you don't need the split maps and what not, which takes up a lot of space.
I think for a car as expensive as the X5, NAV should be standard. | | | | | Aficionado
