Very nice propotions and side-profile. Big rear lights remind me of american cars from the 70's. The problem is the front. Those front head lights look really bad. This X5 looks a like agitated rhino. Lower air intake looks it's be made out of chicken wire. Gives a very cheap feeling.

Gee it really is just a larger X3. Like a lot of new vehicles today wheel size plays a huge part in the looks. I think I like the interior more than exterior in some of these shots. One of my favorites:

Yes. It is the same thing upsized except for a few details.

Yes it does and the X5 is arguably the best looking SUV on the market, but I still have to see it in person first. Just because it looks like a larger X3 doesn't mean it isn't good looking.

Actual, it can be kind of a misconception. The X3 had more available room (on the inside anyway) than the old X5. Not sure about the exterior though.
