WOW, love the interior. Certainly an awesome upgrade from the current X5. I see that the I-Drive system has made it to the X5.
I also like the gearshifter. Looks very similar to the one in the M5's/M6's.

Hmm. I've been looking at this picture for the whole day trying to make my mind up on it, and I've come to the conclusion that it's another disappointing BMW interior. It's just so awkward. Look at the number of 'layers' on the center console - none of them flow and it just looks disjointed. Not only that, but the transition from the gauges to the screen is messy. The gearlever looks like some kind of joystick and the screen looks susceptible to large amounts of glare.

If you ask me, BMW hasn't produced a good interior for years. After seeing this, the trend seems to be continuing.

loving the details: the steeringwheel, the gearlever looks awsome. Vents is a bit busy, don't understand why but I'm sure it'll have some function. Looks great now, but imagine black leather with wallnut amarone,

I agree but I like the gear lever, it looklike a B&O phone and I'm sure the americans will appretiate those two gigantic cup holders.

The interior IMO:

- it's no Zonda, but then again, thank God it's no Porsche either.
