True. Some journalists are just da.n stupid. Some even do not know how "flame surfacing" really looks like.

So, it was not only once we could read 7er was "heavily flame surfaced", thet E90 3er had "almost no traces of flame surfaces" etc.

Some journalists think that "flame surface" is only what Z4 presents. But Z4 is an extreme example of FS.

About FS on new X5: of course there is FS present. That was the point of restyling. Hood is FSed, side flanks are FSed, back is FSed. And the E70 is following the X-family theme X3 has started: chunky look.

That's definitely what i didn't want to hear/read....

Don't be so mad. It's not as bad as it seems.

E70 will not be so chunky as X3 - it will be more refined (look at the spy pics). But it will definitely be more E83 chunky than E53 chubby. X5 will be an angry looker. Imagine muscles, agressivness & sportiness.

Oh, that's definitely what i WANTED to hear/read...

Like I said before (and I meant it): when E70 will be introduced Audi Q7 will look like a soccer mum's SUV, while new X5 will be daddy's new toy.

If some of you think Q7 looks aggressive and muscly, wait to see E70.

And the comparison tests will be very interesting to read. Especially the parts about 4WD systems.

Audi better to enhance the Quattro very quickly, unless ...

They are filming & shooting the car right now ... So ...

Btw, if we are lucky some spy pics from shooting locations can appear. Especially because some locations are the same as before.

I love the proportions of the X5 it is so damn phat and hopefully the new one will be even more phat.

I hope they dont stretch the release out as long as they did with the 3er coupe. Those tooke months to arrive. But hey if its meant to be on sale by the end of this year, the ball has got to start rolling soon. I can't wait.
