As for the PS from AMS the shape is correct with the rear a strong 100%.
The X5 retains a very strong evolutionary approach but with familiar present day BMW cues such as taut surfaces and strong shoulder lines the new car retains the current cars chunky muscular design.

The X5 was the first model to expand BMW 's core business. Which to this day sells brilliantly even in it's final months of production - some countries still have waiting lists. With its popularity and the fact that it is fantastic to drive it has ruled its segment ever since introduction. Of course with new rivals expanding the segment the new model is intent on keeping its core heritage. With the X5 BMW has never looked back and has no intentions to do so when the new model comes on stream.
