Probably, there is a good reason for why BMW is building it's X5 "Security" models in mexican… …and like Christian already mentioned many of them will go right to the east…these cars will be found where money is. And I've never seen a "High Security" X5 using by politicans etc…

edit: Just checked some german newspaper and magazine sites…found out, that BMW is talking about a four-digit salenumber of their "High Security" models.

Was always a fan of armoured german cars. Somewhere on this forum is also a thread about safety trainings for these cars…

Looks great! And with level 6 protection, it doesn't get much better.
But with all this weight, the 4.4 V8 M engine with 555 hp would've been better

Does anybody know if the blue lamps are in series? I believe blue lamps aren't allowed for private persons' cars in Germany.

It is special equipement - so they don't come standard with the armoured version!
