what the fudge??? 19" wheels for the X5 M-Package.. that definately can't be right. The past X5 4.8iS had 20" wheels and it suited well, but remember the previous X5 is smaller than the new one, so there's no way in hell that the M-package would be fitted with 19"s .... 20"s minimum, wouldnt be suprised with a 21" option.
And hey Tyc'... if I had the choice of a 535 with M-package or X5 with M-package, I'd be the name right under yours on the waiting list.
I still can't get over how awesome the old X5 4.8iS looks...can't wait to see this new one.

I've been driving a 5er for 10 years already and i adore the car, no doubt. But even the old X5 was my wish and i was seriously thinking about replacing my previous 530d for E53, but i've decided to wait for the new one...
And now, there's nothing else to say except patience paid well.
And you'll see it, a blue one with 20" rims, alu interior trim, panorama roof and M package.
But, but... Testdrive first! And it'll be in a very short time, dealer promised... | | | | | Fanatic

I'd choose exactly what' you've decided on too. You must take the camera with you when you go for the test-driver, you'll probably post one of the first real-life pics of the X5 M-Package. | | | | | The Following User Says Thank You to Beemer B773ER For This Useful Post: | | | GCZ's High Court

Yeah, photos and my impressions will follow for sure, but unfortunately it won't include the M Package since it'll be available only from July and i'll testdrive that mofo before that. | | | | | Fanatic

There simply isn't a better colour than LeMans Blue, even the new M5's Interlagos Blue doesn't have that special metallic look to it that makes LeMans Blue so gosh damn appealling!
How can anyone forget these:
...and I found this pic for comparison's sake. Which would you pick? | | | | | GCZ's High Court

Thanks, mate! Yeah, i remember you sharing the same feeling about that color... And of course i agree, there's no better color for BMW, absolutely!
Which one would i pick? Veyron of course.... And then i'd sell it and buy myself a LeMans Blue: X5, M5, M3, etc... ... | | | | | Fanatic

Hahahahahaha..... I 100% knew you'd say that. I'd so do the exact same thing in a heartbeat!
...but unlike you I'd save a good amount of the sale money of the Veyron for Business Class flying, coz you know I'm into aviation.
Now where are those damn pics. Eni.. any idea when the embargo ends for the pics ?

Freakin' aye Tyc'!! You need to STOP reading my mind bro'... it's bordering on scary now!!
So let me ask you, .... now I think I know you well enough as a BMW fan, so I'm sure you have full faith in BMW and the new X5 being a great driver's vehicle with distinctive styling and great interior design and quality. So why the test drive ?
You know once you drive it you'll be wanting the X5 even more. Hmmm... I think I just answered my own question.. | | | | | Contributor

Usually the material is up there at least few days before press release, so it almost certain there will be no press release this week. Or ...
Mind that dealers are just about to start taking orders for M-package (for July delivery).
I'm sure promo material will hit the media soon.
The car - including some promo material have already been shown & given to the major BMW dealers & local BMW sales managers & all BMW representatives in Geneva in March - for strict internal use. I guess my source got it there. I really haven't asked where he got it. | | | | |
