What is weird here?

BMW said many times before X3 is meant also for rich young dynamic drivers who need a spacious car for their outdoor activities (eg. surffing, cycling, boarding, etc).

So some ads target such population - with a bit unconvetional ads. Like these ones.

1st one: finally some bendy roads where my X3 feels like best

2nd one: you can drive over raised surfaces with no problem due your X3 has higher ground clearence

3rd one: off-road. go for it, since your X3 has xDrive AWD

The problem is, these messages do not come across at all when one looks at these ads. Heck, I don't think even 'rich young dynamic drivers' would get them...

Maybe because it's 8:30 am for me and I haven't had my coffee yet... but even with Eni's explanation, I fail to get #2!

In normal situation that traffic sign is positioned on the other side of the pole - directing you to U-turn around the concrete island.

In this situation the ad says "You can U-turn even over the concrete island and its high edge - since your X3 has high ground clearence & xDrive."

Get it now?

ENI. Your explanation makes it more clear, but at first look its almost like an inside joke, that unless your apart of, its not obvious.
