Not really, I still think it's one of the highlights of the interior.

This car looks ok, definitely better than before. Interior quality seems to have improved so that's definitely one of the problems fixed. Overall, still the weak link of BMW, but having said that, I'd still take this over the R class.

The updated X3 is a good looking car now. Everyone's suddenly biased against the X3, which is totally inappropriate (since it's the best driving SUV/SAV in the whole wide world...)

It depends on your definition of "best driving". Some say that while it handles well (for a SUV) it's way too uncomfortable for everyday use.

This should become a passé with a facelift since the dumper setting has been tuned for more comfortable ride, while not compromising great handling.

I suppose most SUV buyers don't really care about handling - otherwise they wouldn't be buying SUVs now would they...

The design might be less awkward than before but it's still nowhere near to being attractive, IMO of course.

That's great news. And along with the interior update , two of the major issues of the X3 will be solved.

Dare I say I like it!

Guys, you may know that I've disliked the X3 with every fiber in my body since its introduction. But now? They done did it! They put so much lipstick on this pig it actually manages to pass itself off.

In particular, the sculpting of the front bumper creates a new, lower line in your head that suggests much more girth and power than the original - which had as much grunt and brawn in its mug as a Suzuki Grand Vitara.

I never had an issue with the rear lights, but what's not to love about those LED tubes. The rear looks cleaner than before and appears gives off a premium look that's fitting to the price tag.

I didn't think they could wrangle a good look out of the X3 but they managed to do so. Even the interior looks up to snuff, and the new steering wheel looks great. Very surprised that they'd do this before the launch of the new X5. Seems counterintuitive.

Really, I'm kind of surprised. The reason I don't mind the FL is because I never hated the X3. Just out of curiosity, what did you not like about the old one? From what I can tell, people didn't like the bumper (kind of fixed), headlights (not fixed), rear lights (not fixed, same shape) and bad quality (fixed?)
