We're thinking either Fall '06 or Spring '07. We don't want to to be in Europe in the winter and would rather miss the summer crowds. We also have to work around my teaching schedule. So my two week spring break would make the most sense, but spring '07 is a long ways off...

My wife and I will probably get her one next spring. The white one shown in this thread is the one she wants. However, she rather have the black interior. If it was my choice I'd get the mystic blue with black interior. But it will be her car so she gets what she wants.

I think the exterior is a huge improvement over the '05s and IMO the Terra Cotta interior gives the X3 a very rich looking interior. My bud's M3 had the cinnamon interior which looks very similar, it was gorgeous! The latest Autozeitung is saying the X3 will get a true facelift (meaning different frontlights, backlights, bumpers, probably full iDrive interior, etc) somewhere in 2006, so I think if you buy a '07 model, you will get an even better looking car! Facelifts imo always look better @ BMW.

BTW, this forum is amazing feature and style wise. It has everything and then some.
There are too much boards though.

A lot nicer without the black bumpers.. even if still the same material now at least painted the same color as the car looks a lot better.
Interior a lot nicer too.

But spring '07 will have a facelifted X3, that's worth it. New bumpers, front-backlight, probably full iDrive interior, etc.

IMO, it's worth it to wait for it. BMW facelifts always make the pre-facelifted look 'old'.
