X3 facelift (pics inside)

This is a discussion on X3 facelift (pics inside) within the X3 SAV forums, part of the BMW category; I wouldn't call the X3 beatiful (it's far from that) but it's not as ugly as some suggest. In fact ...

I wouldn't call the X3 beatiful (it's far from that) but it's not as ugly as some suggest. In fact i wouldn't mind owing one but new 3 series is more beatiful and has better perceived quality so for that kind of money i would take E90 instead.

Re: X3 facelift (pics inside)

I like the new tail lights, brings it in line with the new 3er, as well as the angle lights!

Looks like BMW released cost cutting for quality was a bad idea, way before MB did!

Re: X3 facelift (pics inside)

The only thing I like about the X3 is the proportions, all the design elements look not only off but very half done.

325Xi touring for me.

Re: X3 facelift (pics inside)

Lehmann is pure stupid!

And I'm very disappointed in WCF.

The X3 in the pic is current (non-facelifted) X3 with M package exterior trim which is standard in US market from MY 2005, and optional elsewhere.

The facelifted X3 will look exactly like this:

New front & rear bumpers, new rear lights graphics (with CELIS LED strips), headlights with CELIS LED rings, new grill. New engines, new steering & susspension settings. Better materials in the cabin + more wood / alu trims.
