The new BMW X1 receives a dash using the "Wave" Design formula as seen on the new Z4 Roadster. BMW X1 is totally seperate from the current 1er but with the next generation you will see some firmiliar design elements and features. Shooting begins in Vancouver next week - lots of mountains , forestry for the first phase. |

| Engines and 2 WD My dealer where I ordered my Z4 sDrive 23i told me it will be available with two wheel drive from the start can anyone confirm this? On the engine side he told me 20d and 23d. I wonder if there will be a 18d ?  |

| How did they manage to get that near ? and why didn't they shot the interior if they were that near ? Anyway i am still amazed by how low this car is.

| They were smart , a little too smart for my liking but they were in a hurry if they had waited they could have got the car in it's entirety. I did not get the chance to throw anything...yet. The theme for BMW X1 - "This is your world"... The concept for me was when I climbed a mountain in Norway , and I stood at the edge looking at what I had accomplished and for a few hours or so "This was my world". Marketing has a similar sense of accomplishment if you add some personality and reality to what you want to get across with your subject. You have to relate to people on what this car's intent and purpose is. Being a SAV allbeit an Urban directed SAV it is still a car to take off for the weekend with your surfboard , skis, snowboard or climbing equipment it's vital to get that message across that such cars like the X1 are flexible in their capabilities. So the car seen here in Mocca Brown metallic , will add youthful color interpretations as well as contemporary colors also. The Wheel designs for this car are also exciting lots of sculpture and excellent design. I am wearing one of those Berghaus floppy hats in the sunshine , listening to Boards of Canada . I get inspiration listening to BOC. |
