i'm also spotting different rear light graphics, the ones on the FEP seem to be very 7series 5GT inspired

Rear light graphics is the same - except the concept didn't have turn-signal bulbs installed - nor were the LEDs installed in the 2 light tubes which were already present on the Concept car as well - therefore the rear lights were never lit up. Check the X1 Concept thread.

The FEP prototypes have fully functioanl lights, and as you can see ... being lit up.
