I was thinking in terms if size and useability. The Polo and the 1-series is about the same size inside and im guessing that the x1, like the cross polo, will not be an offroad hero...

Hope the dashboard isn't identical to the 1er's.

i have also seen this on the X6 Hyprid spyshots, but can't remember to see these on regular versions

Yes, X1 is coming as a Hybrid ... It's confirmed.

I hope that the interior parts we see here will not be in the real X1?
I mean, it looks like a copy and paste from the 1er now....I really hope it'll have it's own unique up-to-date interior, with iDrive and such...Eni???

Yeah i hope they dont do the same that with the X3 interior, wich actually looks like a dinosaur.

As idealic as that would be, I think we have to remember BMW's already increasing the number of shared components between models (let alone variants within a model)...so the fact that the X1 is a grown-up 1er, it's doubtful it'll have a unique interior...but then again, the 1er is a handful of years old now, so the X1 might just end up with a scaled-down and a tad cheaper build quality of the X5/X6 interior design.

I expect an altered version of the 1er interior.
