I strongly agree with you that the 959 is an underestimated supercar. The 959 is technologically advanced during the years it was built and it still has competitive performance figures. And with its appearance, it looks like it is running at its top-speed even at a stand-still. It is one of Porsche's supercars. Some say that its successor was the Carrera GT. By the way, is it true that Porsche is about to build the Carrera GT's successor?

Don't know, but I would rather them go into F1 or(if) break away series.

Oh, and...

The 959 is one of my favourite cars ever.

It's odd, though. Most folks know the 959 as a road-going supercar, but it was successful on both the track (as the 961, which won its class at Le Mans in 1986) and off-road (it finished 1-2 in the Paris-Dakar Rally in 1986, as well).
