That is quite extraordinary! - I am fascinated with how some Americans take their patriotism to extremely obsessive levels - the owner probably bursts into tears when you play "The Star-Spangled Banner" - he clearly loves his country, and that's a good thing, but is it healthy to be so overwhelmingly impassioned with patriotism?

actually its good to be patriotic towards your country but not overly biased and ignorrant about other counrtries...I would know I live here..

Well yea I wouldnt fight for my country, no way in hell. Not to diss those who would and do but I just dont give a damn.

Id fight to protect me, my family and my Sh*t. And frankly id take a dump on a flag before I went into Iraq..
