![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Re: Grade the new Audi TT I voted for number 3. It's pretty much what we expected, that is to say an evolution of the design of the first generation. I never really liked the first TT, and I'm not head over heels falling in love with this one, but I'd say it's much better than the first. There's just something about it that just doesn't appeal to me. |

Everything looks good, except for the rear, left me wanting more. The car is similar to the old concept car so I vote for number 3. Anyway, good improvement ![]() |

![]() | Re: Grade the new Audi TT I wished for more...more cutting edge...more chances in the design. But, I won't be surprised if I like the car when I see it in person- photos are always so deceiving.... For example take a look at the TT UK booklet (in another thread) of the car from the side...the front overhang is very short. When you see it in other photos it's as if the front is hanging so far over the wheels it's going to tip over. So yeah, no cigar, but no ho-hum either. |

![]() | Re: Grade the new Audi TT In a way, I expected it to be better, though with the first car being a design icon (the essence of the car is in its design language more than its performance or its position in the Audi lineup), they couldn't do so much to it without alienating the buyers, and the owners of the previous TT. The front is nice enough, but the rest of it doesn't do it for me. The sides look odd with that exaggerated surfacing, and the rear has barely changed, but somehow still managed to look uninspiring. Not to mention those wheels - Audi's been on a trend of making ugly wheels lately. I hope they return to their old ways. I'll give it a 3. |
