One thing - minor - is that it would have been nice to have a few examples in other colors. In silver it looks great and you can really see the body shape properly, but still, black, red and yellow would have been great. Won't be long though...

I agree, wow does it look better in these shots. Why is that German car brands always issue press shots that don't look like squat compared to just plain ole real life pics?

It kinda reminds me of the Nuvolari concept car from the front, very appealing.

Everything but the side profile of this car looks great. Seriously now, look at all the pictures which aren't mostly a side profile and tell me this car doesn't look like a mid engined sports car. I love it! However the side profile is such a let down. The HUGE front overhang keeps the car looking un sporty and the hatchback/trunk area just looks awkward! It's a waist of good potential.

are they going to make an S or RS version to compete with the Caymen and the M coupe???

There are actually a couple of reasons Audi prefered the silver color for presentation:
-The first TT in concept form was presented as silver.
-Silver is the color of aluminium and this car uses mainly that metal for it's chassis.

All i can say that car looks great from every angle and interior is just gorgeous, as by RS4. I won't say for the SLK, but Z4 in terms of exterior and interior design doesn't stand a chance. Bravo, Audi!

I'm really liking the way they launched this car too looks like everyone had a great time and the giant TT is just awesome.

The car looks a lot roomier than the previous model too. It looks like a real car instead of a toy.

very similar to the concept car we saw a few months ago so Audi hardly surprised us with the official car.

Yes, whilst no surprises in the form and function department, this new TT nevertheless looks tremendous. Ok, so it's lost some of that Bauhaus art deco appeal of the original car but that was inevitable. The shape is instantly appealing with the pert, short overhang rear giving that car a sporty stance. The interior isn't as minimalistically well executed as the original TT's either but it remains beautifully built with spectacular quality and detailing.

I have a feeling that the recessed switch gear well in the centre console may be the only ergonomic blight in this otherwise fabulously crafted interior. But let me make final judgements when I, eventually, get to sit in one. Another fine effort from Audi. I've said this before but they really are... so hot right now.

Oh, just one other thing: I still prefer the Shooting Brake to this, especially the inlet "nostrils" on that car's front bumper.
