Audi TT 1.4 TFSI twincharger

Just when we thought that it couldn't possibly get any easier, or rather, cheaper to buy Audi's iconic TT sports coupe/roadster
with the launch of a - ONLY REGISTERED AND ACTIVATED USERS CAN SEE ALL LINKS - CLICK HERE TO REGISTER,
the German car maker has sprung its second surprise in a matter of days with the launch of yet another variant -
the Audi TT 1.4 TFSI.

The new smallest engine in the TT line-up is a 1.4-litre TFSI unit that combines a supercharger and a turbocharger generating
103 kW (140 hp). Although power is some 22 kW less than the
VW Golf GT which shares the same engine, Audi decided to fit
the TT with this unit due to a number of reasons including
the stricter European emission and fuel consumption rules
and also to attract a wider audience.

It is unknown whether Australia will get this model but
European sales are tipped to follow shortly after the
cars debut alongside the Audi TT 1.8 TFSI model at the
Leipzig Auto Show in Germany this month.

Q: I have never heard of this ?
I know about the 1.8 but if they are making a 1.4
that means I can afford one

WOW I am exited .. I can buy a TT

Good idea. Audi fur alles. Now anyone will be able to pose in style. Debadging highly recommended. Don't see this happening though. The 1.8T is weak enough. 1.4 TSI should be reserved for the A3.

Well.. I'd rather take a 140 TFSI engine who easy could be chipped upto 160BHP or more for a very little amount of money,
rather than the TDI versions they are saying
TDI = Audi fur alles + they are expensive..

Then a less expensive GTI pulls up next to you on the high way and rips the engine out of your TT.

So I probably wouldn't mind..

But for real I wouldn't mind, I don't care for speed.
Just a slick ride is all I need.

The information is wrong. There will never be a TT 1.4 TSI.
