No.I actually think that the FL X3 looks better than this,this car IMHO is ugly inside out,very cheap and boring int with very normal ext that makes me feel that this car is already on the market for years,X3 for me please!

I am happy to see that the production model of the Volkswagen Tiguan is much closer to the concept car than to the spy pics from Namibia we have recently seen. I will order my Tiguan in September. This looks like a Highline version (notice the crome strips around the windows and in the grille).

X3 is not bad after the facelift (if i had the money i would buy one) but i have the feeling that Q5 will be better.

There are some more details on the Tiguan base site - you can now click on the white "blobs" (technical term) for more info and if you rotate the car more clickable "blobs" appear - you will have to log in though

Although the Volkwagen stand here in Frankfurt feels like it's the size of a football field, only two models were revealed at today's press conference. The first was the up! concept shown last night, while the rest of the time was devoted to the 2009 Volkswagen Tiguan. The Tiguan seems like old news now, but this was its official world premiere. Chairman of the Board, Martin Winterkorn, said the Tiguan is an integral part of Volkwagen's growth strategy, so the company is obviously expecting big things from the small SUV.

Seeing it on the stand, the Tiguan still has hit or miss styling. From some angles, its detailing makes it look a step above your average compact sport ute. Then you see it in profile and it looks like a jacked up Rabbit.

The interior is a similar mixed bag. There are good materials and decent room, but little in the way of exciting design. Volkswagen will have to price this one just right to make it fly in the U.S., and based on Dr. Winterkorn's remarks, big numbers are exactly what Volkswagen expects.
