92 Jaguar XJ220 - a good time for such a car.

Hi Lambornima

I got my copy of EVO in the mail last night and you're right, the time for the LP670-4 is an astonishing 1:21.3! I'm amazed given the sheer size of the Lambo - a very very impressive time.

A subscription for a year (13 issues) will set you back $100. Well worth it, I have been subscribing for three years now!

I don't have a working scanner at the moment but I will post the data if I remember tonight.

Sorry lambornima - been preoccupied with more - ahem - pressing issues.

Like I said - no suitable scanner but here's some information from the issue I have in front of me:

- There's no apparent indication that the car was weighed at either Bedford or Millbrook, mass is stated as 1565kg.

- 0 to 60 mph - 3.2 seconds (!!!)
- 0 to 100 mph - 7.3 secs
- 0 to 160 mph - 18.2 secs
- 1/4 mile - 11.4 secs @ 129 mph.

Braking:
100 to 0 - 4.2 secs (again, ! considering the car's mass)
dist in feet - 287 ft
0 to 100 to 0 - 12 secs

Conditions: slightly damp.

Not bad for a thirty-something, Bizzarrini origin V12!
