Yeah, I know about the M5 stuff. The reason why I'm saying so is because there have been some of their times where I've noted what their comment was WAY different than ANY other publication out there. What everyone said was the strong point of a certain car they said was weak. And they never seem to get a good time with ANY japanese car. Even the somewhat inferior Best motoring drivers got a better time. Case in point...NSX-R

Sportauto did a great time with NSX-R with only 280 hp. Not many japanese cars have been tested by Sportauto. Not all goodies in Japan are for sale in Europe. Sportauto only tests cars being sold in Germany.

As you always know , a driver is crucial how fast you can go. Good thing with Sportauto is that they always use the same driver in their Supertests. You can't compare sportauto times with factory times since different driver is used. People often do the same mistake, DO NOT compare Sportauto times with other times.

And the driver in Best Motoring, that guy driving that car , you can say he was born in a NSX-R , he know the car in and out.

Yeah, I know about HVS for Sport Auto...he is the one who always tests the cars. But C'mon the guy in Best motoring isn't even that good...and it wasn't even Tsuchiya who drove it.

But don't worry...I'm not tripping. It's just a car, LOL. It's not like I have money invested in it. I was just saying that Sport Auto isn't even going to come close to 7.38, let alone 7.29

and they never got close to 7.52 min with M5 V10 but you dont see me bitching about it If the same driver isnt used then its not comparable to other times.

Best Motoring? They would probably beat Ferrari F1 car with the GTR. But them getting all excited and screaming alone would be worth watching it.

The only time we have for the GTR from SA is 7:50 and that is with one damp passage in a section of the track. There is no way they will cut 20 seconds of that and SA themselves were quite sceptical about cutting more than a few seconds.

Yeah, I know about that. HVS said that at most he could take off 3-4 seconds on a good run. That's why I said that Sport Auto isn't even gonna come close to that 7.29 time.

Yeah, I don't take them seriously...but they're fun to watch. They'd be my next favorite to watch besides Top Gear.

Gan San, the guy that did the 7:56 time with the NSX-R has done thousands of laps around the Nordschleife, and he is not fast only with Japanese cars:
