the CLK-DTM was on R-tires but the temperature wasnt high enough thats the reason according to sportauto. Off-topic CLk-DTM is one second faster than SLR on their shorttack, Hockenheim

That driver doesnt seem consistent with other Track Times I have seen on these cars?!.......Many seem out of place and order.....I dont think this guys consistent. Some of these cars he may have been driving with a mad hang-over, others on PCP. These don't seem right!

Maybe Nordschleife dont suit Ferrari. Some cars do better on a different track. There is a rumour that Sportauto are going to test Enzo but Ferrari is working on the Enzo, adjusting chassi settings to suit Nordschleife better.

Isnt that kinda cheating.. adjusting the chassi and such.. cause if thats allowed.. im pretty damn sure Pagani and Porsche can tweak their cars to kick ass on the ring.. but suck everywhere else just to for this test..

This guy is consistent and well-known driver in the motoringworld. Its his times that are used as the officiell ones. But of course all these cars havent been tested the exact same day so the conditions might differ a little bit but if thats the case, he usually tell us about it.

Nice info. but I really hope that they will test a non Nordschleife adjusted Enzo. Cheating anyone, ***? Since when did Ferrari Start caring about Nordschleife lap times?

of course they can but its nothing Sportauto can do anything about. I dont know if I would call it cheating, I would rather say its not fair. If Enzo are adjsuting settings, HvS will tell us all about it.

I often read that everytime a carmag testing a Ferrari around a track, there are always Ferrari people around. I wonder why??

I've heard M5 times of 7:52......That isnt a little difference from 8:13. I dont think he knew how to drive it. I think he could have done better. Looks to me like he prefers Porsche and is maybe doing a little "test-track marketing" on the side. Doesnt he know about conflict of interest. I like consistent STIG.

Maybe the Ferrari people are there to adjust the cars and make sure that the car gets the possible lap time or what ever.

but how do you know its true. We have never seen a test of the so called 7.52 min and if it did happen, how do we now the car was tested the way the car leave the factory.

Matt is bomb, you're totally wrong about HvS so give it a rest. Just so you know, HvS did a better laptime with M3 CSL than BMW own testdriver.
