You have a typo by the 335i. I think you put 1.13 instead of 1.17.. | | | | | Global Moderator

Ok guys! What about a prediction for the Hockenheim ring for the 997 GT3RS?
The standard model achieves 1:11.7 (bloody fast) I'm going to guess 1:11.0 or a slight shade below that. | | | | | Me for President

btw, ajzhan said the 130i was eqquiped with the sports package. | it matches the facelifted SL55 but its two different vechiles, one is a Roadster and Coupe Convertible. Z8 is a Roadster and only car that is the same as a SL, I wish bmw had a new powerful roadster.
Big difference between M6 Coupe and M6 Convertible in time.
S3 did well, kicking both 130i and R32. | | | | | Global Moderator

All i'm saying is the M6 cabriolet did a good job, matching the SL55. The time is really good, especially when you see the time (1:16.5) is faster than the XKR which is considerably lighter (1775kg vs 1988kg) Yes, the M6 is more powerful, but the XKR had a weight advantage.
Anyways good job M6 and good job S3 | | | | | Me for President

I have never been a fan of M Convertibles, they are heavy and not as sporty as the Coupes so never a M conbertible in my garage
It looks like they tested M6 Conv. vs RS4 conv. Going to be intresting how fast M6 conv. is compared to M6 Coupe in acceleration | | | | | Global Moderator

I just saw it. The best time for M3 Convertible recorded by sportauto is 1.17,2 min, a second faster than rs4 convertible. My money is that this Rs4 convertible wasnt tested with ceramic and semi-R-tires like the Sedan. Therefore the laptime isnt impressive as the RS4 Sedan. | | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | | | |
